Blogspiration (6): Outside This Zone

Blogspiration is a weekly meme hosted by GrowingUp YA & Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers & writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author’s choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation & just a little SOMETHING.

This is my sixth blogspiration post! I hope you enjoy this next quote!

Take a good look at this. No seriously . . . take a good, long, hard look at it. It's more than just white space. It's the unknown. It's your potential. It's your way of stepping outside of your own comfort zone. It's okay to be afraid of it. Those white spaces are quite intimidating as silly as it sounds. But something, whatever it is, is really there.

So now that I've got your attention, can you see your dream outside that perfectly-rounded circle zone? Yes? No? Maybe? Well, I may not be able to see yours right now but I can see mine and it's up to me - and to you as well - to fill in those white spaces. Let's start today! Let's make those white spaces colourful for a change and break that circle to allow the opportunities to fill it in.

So what about you? What inspires you today?

Enough said.

Blogspiration (4): Not Knowing

This is my fourth blogspiration post! I hope you enjoy this next quote!
I love this quote by Rosalia de Castro because it can relate to everyone who has a path to follow. Some of those paths may already have opportunities waiting for us at the end of it (and perhaps some people may already know what their path will be like and continue to strive for it) but there are other paths too that are of the unknown for most people and yet - even if the unknown is a scary thought because we don't know what will become of it - we're still curious about that unknown path and want to walk on it.

For me personally, the unknown path is what I'm choosing to take and I'm leaving the constant doubts filling my mind behind me. I mean, in the future I want to be that writer and share my love of words with others like some of my favourite authors but will I become that writer? The one I want to be? I don't know. Maybe one day I will. Or maybe not. Again I do not know. But as I'm being inspired by this quote, I'm going to start walking that unknown path today and take as much as inspiration as I can from that path alone.

So what about you? What inspires you today?

Blogspiration (3): Wrong Choices, Right Places

Blogspiration is a weekly meme hosted by GrowingUp YA & Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers & writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author’s choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation & just a little SOMETHING.

This is my third blogspiration post! I hope you enjoy this next quote!

Now I don't know about you guys but I've made some wrong choices - here and there -  in my life. But the main thing is . . . you SHOULDN'T have to regret them! In fact, I certainly don't because life is all about mistakes and learning to live by them, right? So when it comes to this quote in particular, I find it's all about unconditional acceptance and learning how to say to yourself, "Sure, I've made mistakes. It's not a bad thing. Use those mistakes to create something better for yourself." It really does help you!

As for these wrong choices leading to something greater and using an example of my own, when it came to my last year of high school I wanted to go to university straightaway after graduation but instead . . . I took a year off and another year off to search for something that I didn't know too much about (which can also be known as what I wanted to do with my entire life) which - according to what I wanted back in high school - wasn't my plan at all. Did I regret that decision I made? Maybe. Maybe not. I mean, maybe I should have done that course I got into after high school because I would have finished it by now but . . . I already made that choice in not attending university as of yet and I'm glad for that wrong choice I made because now, with me now attending university, I've learnt quite a lot about myself as a person and I'm much more mature now too . . . so my wrong choice ended up coming the right one for me and I'm thankful for it.

So I guess what I'm trying to say here is that this quote, at least to me, means we got to remind ourselves every once in a while of our own past mistakes and see how - once we experience them - our goals or whatever plan we lay out in front of ourselves doesn't necessarily always go our way and that's a good thing I reckon. Life isn't about getting everything you want and plan for (unless you're really lucky hehe) . . . it's about working hard to achieve those goals! For me and what I do constantly, I always go back to that WRONG CHOICE I made in the past - whether I like it or not - because it gives me a greater perspective of myself and allows to me to see where I want to go next.

Blogspiration (2): Never Stop Fighting

Blogspiration is a weekly meme hosted by GrowingUp YA & Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers & writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author’s choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation & just a little SOMETHING.

This is my second blogspiration post! I hope you enjoy my next quote!

I love, love, LOVE this quote by E.E. Cummings! I can relate to it so much like all of us individuals. To me, this quote means it's hard to be yourself nowadays because the world is constantly trying to change you - sometimes for the better but others times for the worse too - and beat you down while it's at it.

So instead of allowing those people (whoever they are and the obstacles they may throw at you) to drag you down and become something you are NOT, this quote can help guide and inspire you as all it's trying to say is . . . you should never be nobody else but YOURSELF. Stay true to who you ARE and you will get by no problem. Life is always going to be a continuous battle - for you and me both - but why not fight it with the one person you know best? YOURSELF. There's a reason why we are made differently and teach others in our own special way so never stop fighting!

So what about you? What inspires you today?

Blogspiration (1): Pass it on

Blogspiration is a weekly meme hosted by GrowingUp YA & Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers & writers alike. I finally decided to do one of these wonderful blogspiration posts and it's about time too.

(via Pinterest)

I couldn't agree more with Albert Einstein. Creativity means different things to different people. Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and generating all sorts of ideas no matter how outrageous they may seem to yourself and to others.

So I don't know about you guys but I totally believe that creativity IS contagious. I mean, whether you're reading a book, writing a manuscript or simply drawing a picture . . . pretty much everything around you - no matter what you're doing at the time - pokes into your creativity zone and this quote really needs to be passed along to someone else you know . . . reminding them of what creativity is and hopefully spreading this wonderful disease over to them. Trust me it's not all that bad.

So what about you? What inspires you today?
