Blogspiration (4): Not Knowing

Blogspiration is a weekly meme hosted by GrowingUp YA & Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers & writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author’s choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation & just a little SOMETHING.

This is my fourth blogspiration post! I hope you enjoy this next quote!
I love this quote by Rosalia de Castro because it can relate to everyone who has a path to follow. Some of those paths may already have opportunities waiting for us at the end of it (and perhaps some people may already know what their path will be like and continue to strive for it) but there are other paths too that are of the unknown for most people and yet - even if the unknown is a scary thought because we don't know what will become of it - we're still curious about that unknown path and want to walk on it.

For me personally, the unknown path is what I'm choosing to take and I'm leaving the constant doubts filling my mind behind me. I mean, in the future I want to be that writer and share my love of words with others like some of my favourite authors but will I become that writer? The one I want to be? I don't know. Maybe one day I will. Or maybe not. Again I do not know. But as I'm being inspired by this quote, I'm going to start walking that unknown path today and take as much as inspiration as I can from that path alone.

So what about you? What inspires you today?

  1. I can definitely relate to this one! Although I'm a planner my nature and like to think about the future ALL THE TIME, I really can't say where things will actually go. It's a little bit thrilling sometimes, too. :) Great blogspiration this week!

    1. It's a little bit thrilling for sure. I'm a planner by nature too but like you . . . I'm ALWAYS and CONSTANTLY thinking about my future. Have NO idea where I'm going to end up . . . hopefully in a good place. I hope. Hehe.

      Thanks Sam!

  2. Hmm. Great blogspiration!! I moved to Scotland with no real plan. And as much as it was terrifing, it was incredibly amazing so far :) You learn a lot of things on the way in the unknown ;) That's for sure ;)

    1. Thanks. I would LOVE to live in Scotland. Such a beautiful place and yet I could imagine how terrifying that would be to actually move there!
